It was a place, you know, where you could find videos and pictures that showed real events, often involving a lot of blood and violence. People could also, pretty much, share their thoughts on what they saw, making it a sort of community for those interested in such material. It was, in a way, a window into a side of reality that most people never encounter directly, or perhaps, try very hard not to.
The site, Bestgore.com, really, was set up by Mark Marek, out of Canada. It gained a lot of public attention, and not for good reasons, in 2012, following a particular event that shocked many. This
